We’ve started working on the Battle of Blister, both in terms of what we’re going to project and where we’re going to project it. We’ve been looking at using Randomes to construct curved projection surfaces. They are modular so you can make whatever shapes you like. They have an organic feel which suits a blister dome and they are much more flexible to use than trying to construct a perfectly aligned geodesic structure. We’ve built some small ones and have ordered some correx to scale them up.

We will be developing a dome projection space ‘Blister Cinema’ with the help of Fulldome enthusiast Nick Lambert, his works Oculus, Lux Nova and Music of the Spheres have been exhibited in the UK, USA, and elsewhere.

Blister Cinema will be a film set for Battle of Blister.
